Meet the artist at gallery's event
AN ARTIST who is known for his colourful and playful acrylics is opening his first exhibition in York this weekend.
Dale Bowen was a master potter at Coalport China and Wedgwood, before declaring painting to be his first love.
His exhibition is at Low Petergate's Braithwaite Gallery and on Saturday, October 15 Dale will be at the gallery from 1pm to 4pm for a meet the artist event.
His paintings are known for their vibrant, whimsical landscapes, with animals, people and vehicles hidden among them, and with humorous titles revealing the artist's affection for each scene.
