SEVEN Yorkshire artists will be exhibiting their work on Saturday and Sunday in York from 10am to 4.30pm in a display called Signs Of Life in a surprise space.

"When looking for the exhibition in its unusual environment and thinking ‘I don’t believe it’s here', keep looking for signs of life," says York artist Anne Hutchison, one of the participants. "Really the show is a reaction against the North Yorkshire Open Studios not taking place this year, which is why seven of us, most with an international reputation, have taken a pop-up space in Heworth this weekend to show our work."

The venue will be Artemis House in Eboracum Way, Heworth Green, Heworth. "All are welcome, to browse or buy or both, mostly to enjoy the fruits of our labours," says Anne. "Being seven artists, variety and connectivity will be key, along with enormous visual enjoyment. It's a new and stimulating display to capture your imagination and fire inspiration, so come and visit us."
