THE Country Living Christmas Fair returns to Harrogate International Centre for a fourth year from Thursday until Sunday.

The four-day Christmas shopping event will offer visitors the opportunity to attend demonstrations with experts from Bettys Cookery School and Goldsborough Hall in the Christmas, Cookery and Craft & Create theatres, featuring tips on seasonal home décor and the perfect Christmas lunch.

This year’s festive fair sees a return to focusing on the importance of supporting local crafts, interiors, gift and food suppliers and trade with many of the 300 stands showcasing hand-made or British-sourced products.

Among the first-time exhibitors will be The Ivy Cottage, a family-owned online boutique founded by Doncaster sisters Katie Mays and Amy France, which specialises in upcycled furniture and gifts.

The duo will be joined by The Little Red Berry Company, which creates liqueurs, using fruits sourced from local producers, at the company’s base in Ripon. Company founder Rachel Jameson says: “I visited the Country Living Christmas Fair last year and knew it would be the perfect place for visitors to try our award-winning flavoured liqueurs, particularly ahead of the festive party season. We’re really proud that the majority of our fruit comes from Yorkshire farmers so we’re looking forward to sharing our locally produced liqueurs with everyone.”

Returning to the fair for a second year will be textile artist and illustrator Laura Park with her Dear Prudence product range, featuring hand-drawn Christmas cards, gift wrapping and stationery designed at her York home.

Tickets can be booked at countrylivingfair.com/harrogate and on 0844 848 0152, priced at £11 for adults and £8 for children, with VIP packages, group tickets and subscriber savings available.
