INSPIRED: Adrienne French with her landscapes which capture the essence of the North Yorkshire Moors, the Dales and the Wolds of East Yorkshire as well as images based on her travels abroad
PICTURESQUE scenes of North Yorkshire have gone on display.
Adrienne French's collection of vibrant and seasonal canvas paintings of the county's moors and the Wolds of East Yorkshire are available for visitors to peruse at Pocklington Arts Centre until April 4.
French is said to "captures the essence" of the landscape in her artwork, which includes countryside scene which encapsulate the character of the renowned county.
The York-based artist works in acrylic and oils using a wide range of texture media to reflex the landscapes she observes around her.
