THE ArtsBarge Riverside Festival promises Sofas, Sangria And Sunshine from tomorrow until Sunday at Tower Gardens, York.

Meanwhile, The ArtsBarge is running a Kids Riverside Festival Workshop Week at the Boxing Club, in Walmgate, where children can “come and make cool stuff” to decorate The ArtsBarge Riverside Festival.

Today and tomorrow, Arty Farty Kids, Adam Ekin and scenic artist Matt Grace are holding art-making sessions from 10.30am to 12.30pm, while Charcoal Physical Theatre will be hosting large-scale art sessions for five to ten year olds from 1pm to 3pm today and for ten to 16 year olds from 1pm to 3.30pm tomorrow. Participants are asked to bring a packed lunch if they are staying all day; snacks and drinks are available, including tea, coffee and cakes. Children aged six or under must be accompanied by an adult.
