PROFESSIONAL artist Heather Dormer will give tuition at a Painting Day at Ingerthorpe Grange, Markington, near Harrogate, on Thursday, May 15.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for artists to take part in a day’s painting in such a tranquil setting,” says Heather, who lives in the village. It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or a professional, the object of the day is to enjoy painting.
If it’s cold or wet, we’ll paint inside.”
Artists are required to bring their own materials and paper. “Chairs and tables will be provided, but if you prefer an easel and your own steel, please bring them along,” says Heather.
The day will run from 10am to 4.30pm and places are limited to12 at a cost of £35 each, including morning coffee, lunch with wine and tuition. To book, phone 01765 677188. Proceeds will go to St Michael’s Church, Markington.
