ARTISTS from York will be exhibiting their work when the Pop-Up Art Space in the city unveils the start of a month of events.

The launch and exhibition at the venue in Little Stonegate will run from 7pm to 9.30pm on Thursday, February 27, and will be followed by an “arts and crafty day” on March 8, between 10am and 4pm, with craftspeople and artists selling their wares.

A digital installation evening on March 14, between 7pm and 9.30pm will see Leeds musician Ben Eyes and his friends perform, and the finale of the Pop-Up Arts Space will be held on March 28, including face-painting and spoken word, dance and shadow puppetry performances.

A life-drawing evening is also planned during the month and Charcoal Physical Theatre will run children’s workshops.
