AMERICAN comedian Reginald D. Hunter will return to the Great Yorkshire Fringe this summer with a new show at the Grand Opera House, York, on July 28.

Further details of his fresh content are yet to be revealed but Hunter has a reputation for searingly honest, even controversial material, garnering him a cross-generational fan base.

His televisons appearances have included Have I Got News For You? and the BBC2 series Reginald D Hunter’s Songs Of The South, documenting his epic road trip through 150 years of American popular song.

He last appeared in York in June 2017 when he defied a broken leg to perform Some People V. Reginald D. Hunter at the Grand Opera House, where he took to the stage in a wheelchair.to fire off his comic arrows in the direction of Donald Trump.
