AFTER "two years of intensive idling in mid-Wales", York poet, artist, songwriter and raconteur Rory Motion returns to his old stamping ground today to perform at the Great Yorkshire Fringe.

He will be presenting his new show, My Life As  A Cheese And Sticky Onion Sandwich, in The Shed at 5pm. He promises "a tasty side salad of fresh material served on a gluten-free smorgasbord of wholemeal classics".

Look out for the guitar case at the end: this is a "Pay As You Feel" gig.
