KELFIELD comedian Tommy Cannon will star with his double-act partner in a new play penned by Bobby Ball at Hull City Hall on Tuesday night.
Part sitcom, part variety show, The Dressing Room is set behind the scenes at a rundown theatre, where Cannon and Ball find themselves involved in the crazy goings-on of former Crackerjack presenter and compère for the evening Stu Francis and fellow comic Johnnie Casson.
Tuesday's 7.30pm audience will see the performers' antics on both sides of the curtain in this "great night of family-friendly entertainment" featuring the veteran comic duo of Cannon, 78, and Ball, who turned 73 last Saturday. Tickets cost £18, concessions £16, on 01482 300306 or at hcandl.co.uk/hullcityhall
