EVERY three years, 8 Out Of 10 Cats team captain Sean Lock writes and tours a new stand-up show. Well, he's only gone and done it again. What's he like?!
"Come and see what I'm blithering on about this time," says the 53-year-old Chertsey comedian, whose 8pm show on Thursday was the first comedy gig of the year to sell out at York Barbican.
Lock will Keep It Light, according to his tour title. Never knowingly serious, but often cynical and pretty much always grumpy, he will address such subjects as parenting, old age, immigration, the EU referendum and the midlife crisis.
Up for Lock's judgement too are his new-found love of ballet, marriage, his use of the internet, children's novels, the price of cinema food and the differences between men and women.
So, if you don't have a ticket, now you know what you'll be missing.
