VIRAL video hit and musical comedian Vikki Stone will top the March 3 bill at the Sitting Room Comedy Club in York with support from Ivo Graham, Ben Schofield and compère Lou Conran.

Promoter Tom Taylor says: “We’ve had two fantastic shows so far this year and next month’s line-up might top both of them; it’s one of the strongest line-ups we’ve brought to the Monkbar Hotel.

"Vikki Stone is one of the most talented people I've ever met. As a musical comedian she is more musical than most musicians and funnier than most comedians; the perfect blend!”

Stone's long list of television and radio credits includes The John Bishop Show, The Now Show, This Morning and That Sunday Night Show. "Her Phillip Schofield Song became an internet hit and was listed in The Huffington Post as one of the Top Ten Viral Videos of 2012," says Tom. "Now she's been commissioned to write a comedy choral piece, which will have its world premiere at the Royal Albert Hall, and she's working on her debut musical."

Ivo Graham, the youngest ever winner of the So You Think You’re Funny? competition, will open the show. "I'm delighted to have Ivo kick the night off. His comedy is beautifully constructed with a charming, bumbling and crafty, self-aware wit," says Tom. "If you like your comedy with long words and beautiful linguistic flourishes, which I do, Ivo is the comic for you.”

Ivo Graham started stand-up at the age of 18 and soon was nominated for the Chortle Best Newcomer Award and Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year. Subsequent appearances on BBC3’s Edinburgh Comedy Fest Live and Comedy Central’s Live At The Comedy Store have seen him become a regular headliner at comedy clubs and theatres across the country.

Compere Lou Conran

Ben Schofield will take the middle spot. "As a fellow Yorkshireman, I've worked with Ben many times and I've never seen him struggle. A natural comic, he's stormed every room I've seen him play. A cerebral comic thinker with a keen eye for the absurd, Ben has the great ability to mine comedy gold from the most unlikely of seams. A joy to watch.”

Lou Conran, who has supported Sarah Millican on tour, will host the 8pm show, for which tickets cost £10 from the Monkbar Hotel reception, in Monk Bar, or at sittingroomcomedy.com
