SOUTH London comic Stephen K Amos brings The Laughter Master tour to Pocklington Arts Centre on Sunday and Leeds City Varieties Music Hall on January 25.

After touring Britain, Europe and Australia last year and undertaking yet another Edinburgh Fringe run last summer, the feelgood comedian is back on the road with more tales and stories of "finding laughter in this crazy world we inhabit", when faced with the question "Is it all just doom and gloom in the headlines?".

Amos has established himself as a household name over the past decade, performing shows at Edinburgh every year since 2003, among them the no-holds-barred All Of Me, Find The Funny and The Best Medicine, as well as playing sell-out dates all over the world.

He has eased his way into television fame with The Stephen K Amos Show on BBC2 and appearances on Celebrity Great British Bake Off for Comic Relief and Live At The Apollo on BBC1, Batty Man on Channel 4, Mock The Week on BBC2 and The Royal Variety Show on ITV. He has been a regular contributor on BBC Radio Four too on Just A Minute, Out To Lunch, The Big Night In, Life: An Idiot’s Guide and What Does The K Stand For?

Both shows start at 7.30pm; Pocklington tickets can be booked online at pocklingtonartscentre.co.uk; Leeds, cityvarieties.co.uk
