MUSICAL comedy turn Steve Gribbin headlines this weekend's Saturday Night Lounge at The Duchess, Stonebow, York, with support from Mickey Hutton and Sam Gore, introduced by compere Dave Twentyman.
"Steve Gribbin was one of the originators of the alternative comedy scene of the early 1980s as part of Skint Video and has been a firm fixture at festivals and clubs ever since," says Hyena Lounge Comedy Club promoter Toby Clouston-Jones. "Mickey Hutton returns to the Hyena Lounge to open the proceedings, with almost three decades on the circuit behind him, and Sam Gore takes the middle slot, fresh from long-overdue success at the Edinburgh Fringe in the summer.
"Dave Twentyman is once again hosting the show, so that means we have four superb, headline-quality comedians to bring laughter and warmth to a cold and damp November evening in York."
