CANADIAN one-liner exponent Stewart Francis has come up with the pun of all puns to sum up his new show: Pun Gent.
After playing Leeds City Varieties Music Hall tonight, Francis spends a night across the Pennine border at Barrow-on-Furness before being revived by the rush of Yorkshire air on Friday at York Barbican at 8pm.
Harrogate Royal Hall beckons on October 21 and a return to Leeds City Varieties is booked for November 4. In response to "surprising demand" – his words, not the opinion of What's On – Francis is adding new dates in 2016, among them Bridlington Spa Theatre on March 5.
Tickets to see the Mock The Week regular on Fridayare still available on 0844 854 2757 or at yorkbarbican.co.uk or on the door; Harrogate, 01423 502116 or harrogatetheatre.co.uk; Leeds, 0113 243 0808 or cityvarieties.co.uk; Bridlington, 01262 678258 or spabridtickets.com
