CONTROVERSIAL comedian Reginald D Hunter will undertake a 45-date tour in 2015 after a year of filming and performing around the world.

He will stop off at York Barbican on Saturday, May 9, to perform his new show, The Man Who Attempted To Do As Much As Such, for which tickets are on sale on 0844 854 2757, at yorkbarbican.co.uk or in person at the box office, open Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm and on event days.

The American comic from Albany, Georgia, settled in Britain nearly 20 years ago and famously unsettled the football fraternity in 2013 with his after-dinner stand-up act at the Professional Footballers’ Association’s annual awards ceremony.

Hunter’s comedic work is noted for its brutal honesty on such issues as race and sexuality and he has never been afraid to face challenging issues head on, especially when the focus is on his own principles and beliefs
