THE Edinburgh Fringe previews continue at the Hyena Lounge Comedy Club in York on Saturday where all four performers are revving up for the August festival.

Glenn Wool headlines the 8pm bill at The Duchess, in Stonebow House, fresh from flying in from his native Canada. He began his comedy career in his hometown of Vancouver in 1995 and moved to London three years later. He now plays Singapore, Holland, Dubai, New York and Los Angeles, where he lives at present.

Over here, he performs at such festivals as Reading & Leeds, Latitude, Bestival, Download and Glastonbury and he has appeared on Russell Howard's Good News, Never Mind The Buzzcocks,The Live Floor Show and 28 Acts In 28 Minutes, all for the BBC.

Justin Moorhouse opens Saturday's show with his exuberant, larger-than-life personality and cheeky northern charm. Most recognisable as Young Kenny in Channel 4's Phoenix Nights, even if he spent the entire second series with his face painted as a tiger, he has since guest-starred on Coronation Street.

Harriet Kemsley takes the middle slot with plenty of awards to her name, such as New Act of the Year at both the Bath Comedy Festival and Brighton Comedy Festival. Welsh wit Rhod Gilbert once named her in the Mail On Sunday as one of the Ten Must See Comics.
