SEANN Walsh will have to get out of bed once more to demonstrate to the world why he is The Lie-In King at Selby this weekend.

The show with the best title doing the 2014 comedy rounds was nominated for Edinburgh Comedy Award on its Fringe debut last summer.

Last year, Seann had his own television series Seann Walsh World on Comedy Central.

Airing for 13 episodes, the show mixed stand-up comedy with viral internet video clips as he delved into his life as a young, single comedian. He also starred in Comedy Central’s new sitcom, Big Bad World.

Last September, he recorded a one-off show at the Hammersmith Apollo for his debut DVD, Seann To Be Wild, for November release by Universal Pictures.

Storyteller Seann has performed on Channel 4’s Stand Up For The Week and BBC1’s Live At The Apollo and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, as well as making appearances on the 2013 Royal Variety Performance on ITV1, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Mock The Week on BBC2 and Alan Carr: Chatty Man and 8 Out Of 10 Cats on Channel 4.

The 27-year-old Brighton motormouth will be supported by Romesh Ranganathan, the 2013 Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year, an award that Walsh once won too.
