THEY’RE fast, they’re hairy and they’re zooming over here next week.
Simon King and David Myers, the motorcycling cooks with the famed facial hair and equally renowned stomachs, will be at Waterstone’s in York on Friday at 12.30pm to sign copies of Mums Know Best: The Hairy Bikers’ Family Cookbook, the book that ties in with their BBC2 series now running on Tuesday nights.
The six-part series is a celebration of family cooking and aims to create a database of recipes passed down the generations.
As the pair put it: “What a treat, food with a load of love. Great British food from our mams, grannies and dads. We have rummaged in the bottom drawers, cupboards and memories of houses and families across the nation for their secrets, recipes and top cooking tips.”
Courtesy of Waterstone’s, we have three copies of the book to be won.
