THE Co-operative is staging a series of workshops in Harrogate as part of a national scheme to encourage young unemployed people into the food industry.
The business is backing Feeding Britain’s Future - Skills For Work Week, a nationwide campaign, from September 17 to 21, which aims to help prepare young unemployed people for the workplace.
It is hosting a workshop at its food store in Starbeck, during which 45 young unemployed people will receive training in the skills they need to help them secure jobs, such as creating a CV and interview techniques, as well as learn more about the different types of jobs in food retail.
