APPRENTICESHIPS in some of the region’s most stunning locations are being offered in a joint venture between the North York Moors National Park and University of York.
Three people, aged between 16 and 19, will be chosen to learn conservation skills passed on from workers at the National Park.
The two-year placements will focus on a specific craft such as brickwork, masonry or carpentry and will also involve management of archaeological sites with English Heritage.
Details on how to apply will be available later this month at york.ac.uk
