A RANGE of training schemes for apprentices has been extended by North York Moors National Park.

Following funding from Ryedale District Council, an apprenticeship in ICT has been created.

Young people aged 16 to 24 have until July 4 to apply for the two-year apprenticeship which will be based at the National Park’s Helmsley headquarters.

The National Park Authority was named as the best medium-sized employer of apprentices in the Yorkshire and Humber region in 2012 and 2013. The new ICT apprentice will bring the number of apprentices at the authority to 16.
