Spots for marathon spectators
SPECTATORS turning out to cheer on the thousands of runners will be able to line the route as the Yorkshire Marathon passes through the region.
The marathon starts and finishes at the University of York’s Heslington campus, travelling through the historic city centre and passing through the medieval walls before taking runners north eastwards out of the city.
Participants will travel through, or close by, Stockton on the Forest, Grange Wood, Upper Helmsley, Stamford Bridge, Gate Helmsley, Turkers Wood, Murton, Osbaldwick and back towards Heslington.
