ON marathon day the course will also host the James Potter Eggs Corporate Relay.

The event is open to teams of six with relay distances between three and six miles.

Paralympian Hannah Cockroft and former Leeds United footballer Danny Mills are both set to take part, racing as part of the Jane Tomlinson Appeal’s team.

Around 80 teams have registered to take part, including groups from Fuse architects in Leeds, staff from the York office of insurer Hiscox, the Council for British Archaeology based in York, and Northern Gas Networks in Leeds.
