VOLUNTEERS are wanted to help line the route of Yorkshire’s Grand Départ of the Tour de France.
Almost 30,000 people have already registered an interest in helping with July’s race, with George at Asda designing the uniforms for the volunteers.
Those selected will receive an email from tour organisers urging them to complete the final paperwork to take part.
Richard Mason, of Asda, said: “I really want to encourage everybody who has registered an interest to now take the next step of filling out their application forms.”
Anyone who has registered an interest in becoming a volunteer should have received an email to complete an application form.
If the email hasn’t arrived then they should contact questions@tourmakers2014.com or phone 0844 848 4517.
