Tour de France souvenirs sell fast
TOURISM bosses selling Grand Depart souvenirs say they have been inundated with demand.
York’s Visitor Centre is selling t-shirts, keyrings, badges, rucksacks and other Tour de France-themed merchandise, and staff said they are having to restock shelves almost hourly.
Kate McMullen, head of Visit York, said: “Souvenirs and merchandise for the Tour de France are selling faster than hot cakes and we’ve been inundated with demand.”
