LAW firm Ware & Kay is to mark the arrival of the Olympic Torch in York with an Olympic-style table tennis tournament at the University of York Sports Hall on Wednesday.
The event also forms part of Ware & Kay’s bicentennial celebrations, which it is celebrating this year after Brook & Bulmer, the first known partnership which eventually made up Ware & Kay, was formed in 1812.
The tournament is an opportunity to network and compete against other firms in York in order to be crowned the table tennis champions of the local business community.
All attendees will be presented with trophies and medals in recognition of 200 years of legal excellence, said Peter Kay, senior partner of the firm.
