A ‘STUNNING’ trailer for York’s Mystery Plays has been launched by organisers of the spectacular production in the Museum Gardens.
The cinema-style video features dramatic key scenes from the plays, from Noah’s Ark to the Crucifixion, set against the backdrop of the ruins of St Mary’s Abbey.
The Plays, starring Ferdinand Kingsley as God and Jesus, and Graeme Hawley as the Devil, with about 250 amateur actors from across the York community, are being staged nightly throughout August.
