DIVERS were back at the canal at Burn as the search for clues into the murder of an Oriental man continues.

The frogmen were yesterday searching the area near to where the man, who is thought to have been aged between about 18 and 35, was discovered last month.

Police believe he had been killed elsewhere and that his body had been in the water for two to three weeks before being found by an off-duty policeman who was fishing in the canal.

The man died after suffering what police have described as a “brutal beating”.
