Homes with a great outlook

CHARLOTTE PERCIVAL takes a look at some homes with nice gardens in York and North and East Yorkshire.

THE Bank Holiday weekend is almost upon us, and what better way to spend it than relaxing in a garden?

This week, we have found homes with some fine outdoor areas.

First up, Grays & Co is marketing a detached home with beautiful gardens and open views.

Orchard House, at Burnby, near Pocklington, boasts four bedrooms, a sitting room with a stone fireplace and double glazed French doors to the rear patio, a dining room, a study, a bathroom with a roll-top stand alone bath and a kitchen with wall and base units, a double range cooker and plenty of space for a table.

Next, Carter Jonas has a charming stone detached with lovely lawned gardens in Welburn.
