THE winners and finalists at the York Community Pride Awards on Thursday spread their joy of contributing.
Recognising their achievements clearly meant a great deal the fantastic people who make our city so special.
Now in their ninth year, long may the awards continue. It was inspiring to be guest of the wonderful Sue Lister, York 50+ and women’s festivals organiser.
Could anyone or any business consider a contribution towards the £350 cost of printing the International Women’s Week festival programmes for March?
Sue coordinates the activities of many groups, making women’s lives better through feminism, friendship and activities raising confidence and skills. Do get in touch.
