AT THE end of a successful year during which we mounted three special event stations, one of which was on the air while the Olympic Torch was in York, we had our annual dinner last week in the presence of a representative of the Radio Society of Great Britain.
The president’s trophy was awarded to Kathryn Knibbs and the Lord Mayor’s shield was awarded to Chris Rouse.
Meetings continue each Friday at 8pm and tuition is available for all classes of transmitting licence. Visitors are most welcome.
