Stifling establishment

THE radical action needed for the country to move forward is stifled by the establishment, who are doing well under the status quo, and politicians sometimes afraid to do what is needed for fear of losing votes.

As for Ed Miliband’s One Nation speech, this is just a pipe dream. There are too many factions pulling in different directions: north/south, rich/poor, indigenous/ new arrivals; liberal/pragmatic, etc.

Talk is cheap and a good speech only needs a well-paid speech writer.

“Jobs for everyone” – only if people will accept Chinese-type slave wages.

“Shortage of houses” – just too many people, especially in London and the south- east.

Finally, EU membership is now costing every family £500 a year. The UK gives Brussells £48 million each and every day.

It can’t go on.

" “Shortage of houses” – just too many people "

Not really.

Take a look at all the empty properties around the country, the second, third, fourth homes owned by the wealthy, noy to mention the absurdly large houses occupied by some, and it becomes clear there isn't a shortage of homes or too many people - as usual it's the distribution of resources that's all wrong.

Envy and prejudice dressed up as concern for the weak and vulnerable - left wing core values - give the wealthy a good hammering and it will all be okay ?

Just read how George Osborne tried to get away with sitting in a first class train compartment with a standard ticket only. When challenged, his aide said he could neither pay nor sit in the standard compartment with everyone else! Presumably he meant with the plebs!

No-one ever needs to 'hammer the rich', because they do such a good job of making themselves look so foolish and out of touch.

Such arrogance is truly indefensible , although I am sure some die hard will make a feeble attempt!
