I UNDERSTAND that approximately 184 residents, due to have their care services withdrawn by the council because they have only moderate needs, are still unsure when this service withdrawal will actually happen.
While the “end of October” has been mentioned, they have still not officially been notified in writing of any date.
As a minimum, residents should have been given a month’s notice in writing of this change. It takes time to build up trust and rapport with any new service provider, let alone find one that can do the work.
