Clearer markings

IF CITY of York Council has any spare money, is there any chance of spending it on road markings?

Many are now barely visible. The one that is really poor is on Station Rise. Traffic wanting to go to Leeman Road seems to wait untll they get to the bar walls and then cut across. This is pretty scary if you are on your cycle, which I am.

Whilst they are at it, the combined pedestrian/cycle tunnel next to the PO Sorting Office needs repainting as it'd go a long way to avoiding the frequent mishaps at the entrance. The bollard could do with a directional sign bolted firmly to it too.

This is pretty scary if you are on your cycle, which I am.

What, right now? As you write?
Disgraceful behaviour writing letters to the Press while riding in traffic. No wonder so many people are down on cyclists if this is how they carry on.

Think Buzz-Light year needs to read the letter again, at no point does it say the cyclist wrote the letter while cycling, bet your one of these drivers who cut cyclists up.
