It’s just progress

TELEGRAPH poles, electricity pylons, and now wind turbines. Each is a progression of mankind as they go further down the development of their age.

I am sure that opposition at the time to the first two was just as vehement as we now see to the third.

We now accept, and hardly notice, the first two as part of our landscape.

Future generations will see wind turbines similarly. The only problem is that we are buying them from abroad.

Surely we have the expertise to produce these turbines for ourselves, and export them as well.
