Tree turned up

I REJECT the traditional family tree which goes back centuries to find the old, bearded man at the very top, and hundreds more of my long-lost ancestors between him and me and my offspring at the very bottom.

My tree is supported by a sturdy 83-year-old live trunk which is Sylvia and George.

All our ancestors, from whom we derived all our strengths (and just a few weaknesses), are buried with our memories as our roots.

Our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren are the branches, twigs, leaves and buds creating new strong, life and saplings of their own every day from above.

Isn’t that a better reflection of life and its progression?
