ON BEHALF of the Arthritis Research UK group in York, I would like to thank all the collectors and all the people in York who kindly donated to our recent street collection in the Coppergate area of York.

Despite a very quiet day with not many people out and about, we managed to collect £279.43, with which we are delighted.

All monies raised by us goes towards research, a lot of it done in this area at the local universities and hospitals, into treatments and hopefully one day a cure into this debilitating condition.
