Beautiful children

I ALWAYS thought that when you had children, you love and cherish them and strive to bring them up to be kind, decent adults; not exploit them as the so-called mother seems to do for her own gratification (Sue Nelson’s column, September 10).

You do not need beauty competitions for babies and young children, for in the eyes of every parent their child is beautiful. I know I did and I did not need anyone else to tell me what I knew already.
