Save Sandie

I FEEL like a turkey looking forward to Christmas because on Christmas Day they are axing Sandie Dunleavie on BBC Radio York.

Sandie is the best presenter of popular music with a huge following in Yorkshire with requests from fans abroad on holiday.

Is this another BBC ploy to sack older women and who are they going to replace her for 18 hours a week?

Looks like next year I will be back watching a load of tripe on TV.

I'll be very sorry to see Sandie go - one of Radio York's better presenters, playing a wide variety of music.

Shame on the BBC.

You can't save her. The biggest broadcasting empire in the world has decided to give her the heave-ho, and there's nothing you can do about it.
