Proper consultation

THE article by Gavin Aitchison (The Press, September 10) regarding green bins made for interesting reading.

CYC Director Sally Burns says that consultation will be “a wide one”. No doubt as wide as it was in respect of the removal of waste bins, closure of Beckfield Tip and the sale of Clarence Street car park.

That is, we will consult but the decision has been made and rubber-stamped by Coun James Alexander and Co.

To prove me wrong, can Ms Burns please tell York residents exactly what consultation process will be invoked?
