Being led by ‘boys’

WITHOUT a shadow of doubt this country of ours, as with City of York Council , is being led by youngsters barely out of their nappies. They sadly lack something that beats all their university degrees, namely life experience.

Surely being a past students’ union president doesn’t qualify James Alexander to lead a council the size of historic York.

When Coun Alexander came into power, he told all and sundry that he was personally as skint as a barn mouse. So how on earth could anyone expect him and his cronies to administer the finances of the council?

One of Coun Alexander’s problems is that he appears to have been brainwashed by his Cool Britannia idol, former Prime Minister Tony Blair.
