On August 28, the York and District Group of Diabetes UK held their annual Coffee Day at St Crux, when £905.97 was raised.

I would like to say an enormous thank you to everyone who helped on the day and to all those who joined us for a drink and a bite to eat. Although it is always extremely hard work at St Crux, we were spurred on by the sunny weather, the cheerful music and the buzz happy conversations.

Once again thanks to one and all. I would also like to invite anyone living with diabetes to join us at our monthly meetings. These are held at the Diabetes Centre, York Hospital , at 7.30pm on the first Wednesday of the month. For further information please contact either myself on 01904 690218 or Christine Guy on 410490.
