RECENTLY I had to spend a few days in ward 15 at York Hospital . The food was excellent, varied, tasty and ample.
And the staff – nothing was too much trouble, day or night. I was reminded of the bit of poetry which goes: “O Woman in thine hours of ease, uncertain, coy and hard to please, hot pain and anguish rack our brow, Lo, a ministering angel thou.”
