What a novel view

How fascinating it is to see how our vibrant Letters column shows the different reactions by contributors to political events when their views are definitely entrenched (Letters, August 13).

Chris Moncrieff is accused of being a “Labour Party spokesman” by someone who is presumably on the right of the spectrum. Wearing my independent spectacles, to me the only regular features writer in The Press who could be said to be of a Tory disposition is Chris Moncrieff. It just shows why our democracy gives us ever-changing colours in Number 10. Fascinating.
