I’ll miss her too

I ALSO will miss Sandie Dunleavy (Letters, July 18).

It is disappointing that listeners have no say in such actions been taken by the BBC – and no doubt others may follow after recent ideas of regional programming being considered within the BBC.

We might all get quite a shock on just how many fans Sandie has built up over the years; she has brought together many people seeking company and quality fulfillment in their lives.

I sincerely hope Sandie will consider a get-together of all her listeners and fans later in the year to say thank-you for the valued entertainment and pleasure she has given in her broadcasting.
