I URGE anyone interested in art and the history of our wonderful city to visit Fairfax House and see Views Of York, Portrait Of A City.

The exhibition of paintings covering the past four centuries offers a fascinating insight into the city’s architecture and social life. Then you have the added bonus of the excellent antique furniture in the house itself.
