Striking a final chord

I AM saddened by the news of the death of Bert Weedon. I had the pleasure of working with Bert in the 1960s and I can honestly say he was one of the most genuine and unassuming people I have ever met.

May his guitar playing live on – RIP, Bert.

Too right Margaret, a nice man who not only could play but thought about others having a go. Play in a day caught the imagination of lots of young would be pop artists but in reality it was more like several months. RIP Bert.
