Paramedic praise

I WAS about to take a service at Warthill Church when I sustained a very bad fall.

I was unable to move and one or two kind parishioners helped stem the blood and very soon an ambulance arrived.

They managed to get me and my blood-stained robes into a wheelchair and to hospital where I received excellent treatment and went home.

The reason for my letter is to highlight the brilliant ambulance men who dealt with me quickly, caringly and most efficiently.

We read letters in The Press regularly of people who have falls, and they praise passers-by for help, and hospital staff for treatment.

The ambulance service is a credit to York. Well done, and many thanks.
