IT WAS lovely to see a report from our Lincoln Court Day Club in The Press of January 24, giving information about what members do and enjoy. And also your invaluable “plug” for their push to recruit new volunteer drivers.
I know anyone who becomes a volunteer driver will get a lot of enjoyment from it, at the same time as helping many older people in our communities.
However, the contact details given at the end of the article are not likely to help volunteers find us. The website for Age UK York is ageukyork.org.uk and our email address is ageukyork@ageukyork.org.uk or people can phone us on the number below.
